There are some two groups of people who tend to show interest in buying stainless steel teapots. These are, in other words, the two groups of people that anybody who is involved in a teapot marketing venture should target. We will be looking at the respective groups of people, and the respective factors that tend to be important to them as they undertake teapot shopping. If you are in the business of selling teapots, you will find this type of information to be highly useful indeed. Even the designers and manufacturers of these teapots would also be able to derive a lot of information and inspiration from knowing their target market.

The first group of people who have a high interest in the procurement of teapots is composed of household managers. These are people who buy the said utensils with the objective of using them in the domestic setting. Every typical western household is bound to have a teapot, especially in the kitchen. A household manager, as the phrase implies, is one who is responsible for running the household in a smooth manner. They are most likely the breadwinners in their households. It is also all right if the household manager decides to assign someone else in the household to do the teapot purchasing. Often, they would assign the tasks to their children, another member of their family who happen to live in the same house, or a domestic helper, if any. They could decide to buy a teapot for their household for many reasons. Perhaps they are the type of people who wants a household that has a complete set of utensils and kitchen tools. This is because there is a perception, in some quarters, that a household without something like a teapot is ?missing something?. At other times, the decision to buy a teapot is motivated by the identification of a utilitarian need for this particular utensil. It could be that they need a bigger teapot so everyone in the house could have tea. It could also be that their old teapot is now out of commission.

The second group is composed of people who are buying teapots because it is required in their industry, which is the hospitality industry. The teapots are needed by these people for business purposes, so we are looking at hoteliers, restaurateurs, coffee shop and bar owners, and the like. These types of businesses could not possibly thrive and flourish without a teapot. Often, a person in this sort of business will end up having to replace the original teapot, once it becomes inadequate for the growing business, or once it gets worn out due to intensive usage in the business setting.

Differences in size, design and other features are apparent when you set up a teapot for domestic use side by side with that for business use. Even the manner of shopping for a teapot undertaken by a household manager would also be noticeably different from that of a business manager.
