The Roanoke Go Outside Festival is an annual event to celebrate the outdoors and a healthy lifestyle.
Man?s best friend even joined in on the fun over the weekend.
Hundreds flocked to Roanoke?s Rivers Edge Sports Complex for the 2nd annual event formerly known as the Outdoor Circus.
A wealth of outdoor related activities were available at the free event like slacklining, rock climbing, and Frisbee golf.????
?The whole idea behind this was Roanoke parks and recreation and Roanoke outside said what can we be doing to get more of our community healthy and active and outdoors and engage with the outdoors? said Pete Eshelman, the event organizer.
Event organizers expected more than seven thousand people to attend the weekend-long event.
